Balsfjord is a stunning fjord area surrounded by dramatic mountains and peaceful coastal villages. As you drive along the road, you’ll see wide, open views of the fjord stretching between snow-covered peaks, with small farms and red boathouses dotting the shoreline. In winter, the landscape glows with soft Arctic light, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot reindeer grazing near the road or see the Northern Lights dancing above the water.
