Balsfjord is a stunning fjord area surrounded by dramatic mountains and peaceful coastal villages. As you drive along the road, you’ll see wide, open views of the fjord stretching between snow-covered peaks, with small farms and red boathouses dotting the shoreline. In winter, the landscape glows with soft Arctic light, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot reindeer grazing near the road or see the Northern Lights dancing above the water. It’s a beautiful blend of sea, mountains, and traditional Norwegian countryside.

We will pick you up in front of Sånn Cafe where it is across from the movie theatre. Our guide will check with your name before you hop on the bus.

Reindeer sledding can be dependent on snow conditions. If the snow is not solid enough, the sledding tours will not be done to avoid the reindeer getting hurt.

Dress warmly, we recommend multiple layers.

Please give us notice if you want vegetarian options or you have any other dietary requirements. To avoid food waste we try our best to prepare the proper amount of food.
