Haixin Bridge is a landmark pedestrian bridge spanning the Pearl River in Guangzhou. Opened on June 25, 2021, it links the eastern tip of Ersha Island to the Canton Tower riverside in Haizhu, creating a scenic, car-free route between two of the city’s most popular districts. Designed as a curved, skewed steel arch, the bridge’s main span is 198 m and the deck widens to about 15–20 m at the center, with flowing lines inspired by Lingnan culture. By day it frames skyline views across Huacheng Square; by night it becomes a favorite photo spot for the Canton Tower light show. It’s widely noted as Guangzhou’s first pedestrian landscape bridge across the Pearl River.
