Your English-speaking tour guide and the private car with driver will come and pick you up at your hotel in Guangzhou, then drive for 1.5 hours to reach Foshan, which is a second tier city in China and it's famous as hometown of traditional Chinese martial art, for Kung-Fu master predecessor like Wong Fei-hung, Ip-man and Bruce Lee.

Upon arrival in Foshan, you will go visit the famous Big Buddha Mountain, it's a top level national 5A scenery with beautiful and tranquil landscape, a natural wonderland formed from an ancient volcanic crater on the mountain.

You can take the scenic shuttle car to go up the mountain, have a panoramic overlook view to the local area on the observation deck platform, go in to explore the 500 years old Ming Dynasty buddhism temple with various religious architectures, hallways and buddhas, and finally climb many steps(optional) to reach the top of the mountain-the 61.8m tall big Guanyin Buddha bronze statue and marvel at fascinating scenery around.

You can have lunch for yummy vegetarian food at a local vegetarian restaurant in the temple, optional and could be skipped based on your needs and interest.

View the manificent 61.8m big Guanyin Buddha bronze statue on top of the mountain, the highest spot of the 500 years old buddhism temple.

Learn about the local religious culture and manner from your guide as you move around among the fish pools, burning joss sticks of incense and embossment sculptures of buddhism world.

After visiting the big buddha temple, you can take the shuttle car again transfer to Sky Lake scenic area, it's formed upon an ancient volcanic crater hunderds of million years ago, now with rain water accumulation as a large clean reservoir on the mountain.

And this is the place where the traditional Chinese martial art Kung-Fu and lion dance is performed, you can sit down and watch the fantastic half an hour show by professional teenagers from martial school institution.

As the highlight of Southern China culture, the lion dance is performed by two actors one in front one at the back, imitating a vivid lion which would jump and climb on separated independent wood sticks in the air displaying agile and skillful movement.
