About this experience

Visit a maya site, Xunantunich, Go ziplining from 7 platforms with 6 lines 500 to 1000feet long, going thru and over the forest and rivers then The tour continues with the Cave explore, using kayaks or tubes, upon arrival at the caves, you are provided with a kayak and the guide leads you into the upper caves, stopping along the caves to see formations and swimming areas, then the paddling fun continues as you explore the 6 cave systems for up to one hour and a half, seeing the small water fall inside the caves, at the exit of the caves you continue paddling downstream for another ten minutes. After all the exploration and activities its a return drive to San Ignacio, Belize City. Guest from The San Ignacio Area visit the maya site of Xunantunich or Cahal Pech, guest from Belize City visit either Xunantunich or Altun ha. depending on river crossing conditions or possible closures.

Nohoch Che'en reserve is the location for the Zipline Activity and the Cave tubing or Kayaking Activity.
for the zipline it's a 3-minute walk to the first platform, the crew assist to put on the harness, helmets and gloves, then it's time to practice on the "chicken run", then move up some steps on the hill side to the higher platforms, each having a zip line over a thousand feet in length. the lines hover over the treetops and the river. at the last platform, we return to the car parking, then use the facilities with showers, restrooms and prepare to get wet. The guide issues the gear, helmets, jackets, paddles. the walk is five minutes to the river side, walk across the river waist deep to get to the other side. walk the forest trail for 25 minutes. here we get in the tubes or the kayaks, single or tandem, and start paddling thru a series of huge cave systems, see many formations and a waterfall, exit the caves and paddle downstream to the car parking area.
