It was built in 1910 on commission from the family of Emilio Wild, a Turin industrialist. During the second half of the twentieth century Villa Roccabruna seemed to decline several times, almost reducing itself to the state of ruins. Subsequently, in 2010, it was renovated and transformed into a luxury hotel: the Oriental Mandarin Hotel.

Villa Troubetzkoy, was built in the 1800s by the Russian prince Alexandre Troubetzkoy. Since many large boulders had to be removed quickly, the Prince used mines which earned him the name of "Turbascogli" or "Rock Disturbance". After 5 years of restoration it is now a luxury boutique hotel with a swimming pool and spa overlooking the lake.
