The tour starts from Lake Como or Milan, depending on where is located your accommodation. Our private driver transfer will pick you up to reach your first stop: the train station of Tirano. To reach Tirano from Lake Como, you'll pass through world-famous cities, like Varenna and Bellagio.

3

At the railway station of Tirano you'll get on board of the Bernina Red Train. It is not a simple train, but a real arena overlooking the fascinating spectacle of the nature. In fact, the Bernina Train is a UNESCO World Heritage Site! From the train, you can admire the breathtaking scenery that unveils itself throughout the trip. After 2 and a half hours, you'll reach St.Moritz.

4
Stop 4 Pass by

From Tirano to St.Moritz, you will run along villages, small hamlets, rivers, lakes and glaciers on board of the Bernina Train, UNESCO World Heritage Site.

5

The Ospizio Bernina is the highest point of the Red Train line, which here reaches an altitude of 2,253 m.

6

Once in the centre, between a slice of Engadin walnut cake and a chocolate praline, you can combine a tasty break with a quiet walk to discover the many contradictions of this sumptuous and cosmopolitan mountain town with its Alpine charm.

7

Lake St. Mortiz, which can be reached from the station via a convenient underpass, is undoubtedly the highlight of the journey with the Bernina train to the Engadine village.
Here you can take a walk along the footpath around the lake or simply reach the Church of St. Charles, which can be seen in the distance.

8

On the way back from St. Moritz by car, we will cross the mountain pass of Maloja, a panoramic road immersed in the woods between the Italian and the Swiss alps.

9

A beautiful lake used heavily for sports, such as kitesurfing and windsurfing in the summertime. In the winter, once the lake freezes, it is used for cross country skiing, walking trails, and kitesurfing on snow, with the famous Engadin Skimarathon crossing the lake annually.

10

You will have a short visit of Acquafraggia Waterfalls during your return trip to your accommodation (except on weekends and in August). The Acquafraggia Waterfalls, located near Chiavenna, are a breathtaking natural monument. They feature a magnificent double cascade of about 170 meters, so impressive that they were even mentioned by Leonardo da Vinci.
