Next you can know the Japanese history, culture and life style through entering into Japanese traditional house.
If you become hungry, Let's take the Japanese traditional food & drink which the guide recommends.
If you want to make or paint pottery, you can try it.
If you don't have time, you can buy some souvenir of hand made pottery for your great memory.

Let's walk on the traditional road made of many pottery with friendly guide! During my tour, you can have wonderful experience as bellow.
1 ) Walk in the Japanese traditional town.
2 ) Buy some souvenir in pottery manufacturer workshop.
3 ) Enter into Japanese traditional house.
4 ) Take picture of beautiful landscape.
5 ) Take lunch, coffee-break, sweets or dinner in traditional Restaurant or Cafe which the guide recommend you.
6 ) Know Japanese food, history, customs etc...

There are many pottery stature of beckoning cats on the street.
Each cat shows Hope, Love, Peace, Well Health etc...

On the cliff top, there is Giant Beckoning cat!
The name is TOKONYAN.
You must be surprised at site.

This is a traditional private house in TOKONAME.
The family is ship owner before hundreds years.
You can enter into this house and see the Japanese house style.
And "SUIKINKUTYU" is the highlight of this house.
It's old system for listening beautiful sound of dropping water.
It's the best way to understand the system that you listen directly at site.

It's good photo spot for taking TOKONAME city and airplane.
During taking rest, you can use a toilet provided 3 Japanese famous pottery company.

Clay pipe slope is made by Clay pipe, clay bin and broken piece of them for prevent collapse the slope.
They were originally made for drain water pipe or cable pipe or alcohol bin.
However it's convenient for protect the street now.
The clay red color is beautiful especially with sunset light.

It's old giant kiln used decades ago.
10 big chimneys make us image of manufacturing many pottery those days.

INAX is one of famous tile and toilet item manufacturing company in Japan. There was a factory of tile and changed museum now. You can enter into kiln that was used decades ago, and see the history by Projection Mapping.
If you'd like to visit there, it takes 10 minutes by taxi as option .
