Detailed itinerary

1

This beautiful monastery is in Belém, the most western neighbourbood of Lisbon, and is home to where our famous navigators, such as Vasco da Gama set off in search of new lands. Here, we will visit the monastery from the outside and also go and taste the famous Belém custard tarts!

Another area in Belém is this famous Tower built in the 16th century, which was originally used as a defence fort against enemy invasions.

The Padrão dos Descubrimentos or the Discovery Monument symbolizes the location where the portuguese explorers set off from and has the statues of the most significant people related to our explorations.

4

The Cristo Rei or Jesus statue is another symbol of the city. To get there we will cross the Tejo river along the 25 of April Bridge. By the statue you can enjoy a fantastic view overlooking the entire city of Lisbon

The entrances that are excluded, are not part of the tour as to visit each one the tour would take longer than 8 hours. It is possible to visit them all or some of them, but then the tour would have to be adjusted and some other sites would have to be excluded. As its a private tour, just inform the guide if you want to visit some of those sites to adjust the tour to your liking.
Furthermore, as this is a tour in a car or minivan, the rest of the time will be spent commuting from place to place.
