First and foremost you will have a fluent speaking tour guide. Secondly, what this tour offers comparatively to other tours is the full Pena Palace visit. Unlike, other tours where you just visit the main palace, you will get to visit the Chalet of the Countess, explore some of the most beautiful areas in the Pena Park, such as the chalet area, the Queen´s throne, the Queen´s fern valley and if you are up for it, we can even visit the highest point in Sintra, the high cross, which is inside the grounds.
As the tour is just in Sintra you will be able to explore the town without rushing, exploring some of the coast, eat delicious food at a nice restaurant of your choice, try local pastries and finish off the day at the most western point of mainland Europe, Cabo da Roca. During the winter it may even be possible to watch the sunset from here!

Travellers will get the chance to visit all the main points of the Pena Palace and Park, not just the main palace. First, we visit the Chalet of the Countess, which King Ferdinand built for his 2nd wife. Then, we head to the lake entrance and walk along the lush ponds and grounds towards the Pena Palace. We visit the Pena Palace, both inside and outside and then explore more of the grounds before heading back to the town.
Our next stop is the magical town of the historic centre of Sintra. We will explore the centre, as we pass by other palaces, enjoying beautiful views as well as get the chance to try some local pastries.
Enjoy lunch on the coast, eating seafood or fresh fish from the Atlantic Ocean. Many places along the coast where your tour guide can recommend or have lunch in the historic town.
Our last stop is Cabo da Roca, the most western point of mainland Europe, where you can gaze at the everlasting Atlantic Ocean. A very scenic area, 140m above sea level on the cliffs facing the ocean.
