Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is one of Japan’s most important Shinto shrines, dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, the deity of learning, culture, and scholarship. Surrounded by over 6,000 plum trees, tranquil ponds, and iconic red bridges, the shrine offers a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. Many visitors, especially students, come here to pray for academic success and good fortune, making it both a cultural and spiritual highlight of Kyushu.

On this exciting day trip from Fukuoka, travelers will experience some of Kyushu’s most famous highlights. Ride the scenic Yufuin no Mori sightseeing train through lush mountains and countryside, then explore the charming streets of Yufuin Town and the fairytale-style Yufuin Floral Village.
