After a beautiful walk we arrive at the beginning of the Pombaline downtown with the magnificent train station that goes to Sintra in the neo-Manueline style.

Stop 2

In the magnificent Rossio square, the center of the historic downtown Pombaline area, we begin our visit to this neighborhood.

After climbing along paths known to the locals, we effortlessly reached the top of the hill where the São Jorge Castle is located. If you want to visit the castle you will have to pay for your entrance fee and will be accompanied by our local guide.

A viewpoint over the Alfama neighborhood and the Tagus River
