Our local guide will recommend starting with the squares and streets of Baixa Pombalina. Then, using elevators that locals know, you can go up to the historic landmarks of São Jorge Castle, Portas do Sol and Lisbon Cathedral. Go down to the Alfama and Mouraria neighborhoods until you reach the historic city center, Commerce Square.
After a short break, walk up the shopping streets of the Chiado and Bairro Alto neighborhoods until you reach the best viewpoint in the city with views over all the neighborhoods through which you took your walking tour.

After a beautiful walk we arrive at the beginning of the Pombaline downtown with the magnificent train station that goes to Sintra in the neo-Manueline style.
