Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

We will be exploring the transformation of one of Lisbon's iconic squares through multicultural lenses.

We will be setting into an immersive cultural tour of the infamous Mouraria district. You will be exploring its multicultural side, its hidden budlings, and various secrets, and we will enjoy some spectacular street art while climbing up through history and communities. We will end up having a wonderful dinner in an African family restaurant, and may even explore jazz or samba elements through the neighborhoods' live local jam sessions.

We will be exploring the beautiful Graca Gardens where we will be taking a mindful break and authentically relate to each others, and the city.

Stop 4

We will go up, and enjoy an amazing sunset view from Lisbon's highest hilltop. This activity, and the tour requires a moderate physical condition as we will go up and down stairs at times.

We will be having a wonderful African dish as one of the oldest restaurants in town. Dona Maria has been running her business for over 45 years. Normally her brother plays live music entertaining guests with African tunes.

Depending on the night of the week we may be visiting one of the most emblematic alternative bar in Lisbon dating since the early 1990s. The location offers live music ranging from samba to world beats. Chapito is more than a cultural fun venue but also a pupeteer school working closely with the homeless to support their skill enhancement and society integration.
