“The Ala-Too Cinema ” is the oldest and most famous cinema in Bishkek from the time of Soviet Union. This Ala-Too Cinema Movie Theatre is listed as a cultural Monument of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Zero kilometre marker was installed in 2009 ,and it is a popular landmark in most major towns from where all distances are measured. It is comprised of a four pointed star with the cardinal points, a Zero in Golden star with eight points is in the middle of it.

The history of Bishkek’s Opera and Ballet Theater began 1926 with theater artist beginning their training in what they called the Kyrgyz national studio. Kyrgyz State Opera and Ballet Theater was founded in Bishkek on November 7, 1930. It was then Kyrgyzstan’s first and only European-style theatrical institution Under the Soviet Union.

The Bishkek " Circus " building was designed in 1976 .This UFO-Shape structure was built to welcome circus acts from around the world and more likely, from around the USSR. This architectural gem is a testimony to the role that the circus played in the Soviet Union and this circus is still working in the Bishkek.

The Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after " Gapar Aitiev ".This art gallery was opened on January 1, 1935.The basis of the museum's collection was 72 works of Russian artists from the Tretyakov State Gallery, which was personally selected by the founder of the museum. Now ,it has more than 18,000 art works collection. The largest section is the collection of Kyrgyz painting. All the periods of the historical, spiritual and cultural life of Kyrgyzstan were most fully reflected in it.

The National Library was established in 1934 during Soviet rule in Bishkek. It has a rich history that reflects the country's evolution and commitment to preserving its cultural heritage .In 1984, the library moved to its current location, a large seven-story building designed to store three million storage units. The building was named after Vladimir Lenin during the Soviet era. After Kyrgyzstan gained independence, the library was renamed the National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic .

Modern Academic Drama Theatre is established to make the preserve the cultural and artistic values of Kyrgyz people. The building was renovating for three years, the repair work has been completed and there is opening of doors for visitors. The Building of Drama is quite new established.

Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) is Known as White House of the Bishkek . This Building was commissioned in 1976 to be the Communist Party's Central Committee headquarter ,it was fully constructed in 8 years. It is supposedly in this building where Askar Akayev studied "the situation" during the collapse of communism. Kyrgyz Revolutions made some destructions of this building in 2005 and 2010 in protests.

The square of Stele of Friendship of Peoples is unique by its monument and statues which are attached around the long pillar. The Square of Friendship of Peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Russia was created and landscaped around the Friendship of Peoples Monument, erected in 1974 in honour of the 100th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's entry into Russia.
