In the morning after pickup from your hotel we’ll start our stunning city tour. Get acquainted with the best places in the capital city. The first place to visit will be the Victory Square:
The square is dedicated to the Second World War with the relevant monuments and eternal fire. Our guide will tell you a brief history of the War and how it affected Kyrgyzstan.
Kyrgyz National Opera and Ballet theater - an old and beautiful building that showcases the charming Soviet architecture. From here you will make your way to Oak park to learn more about some other monuments and to have a glance at the fancy Art gallery.
Ala Too Square - The main square of the city where the biggest flagpole and the sentinels are located. Have a walk around the place and see the historical museum, Manas hero monument and the White House. Explore the charming “Erkindik” or “Freedom” boulevard and the old railway station which is a good example of the Soviet architecture of the early 20th century.
Kyrgyz State Philharmonic Hall - another beautiful place to capture a fascinating style of the Mayor’s office, International University and the Philharmony itself.
Osh bazaar - The legendary open air market where you will dive into the culture of traditional shopping of Kyrgyz people. A perfect place for acquiring souvenirs, dried fruits, national delicacies and much more.
Lunch in a beautiful national restaurant. In the afternoon we’re heading towards Burana Tower to the small town of Tokmok (80km).
Once we get to the place we’ll spend about an hour there. Let’s climb on top of the tower which opens up a great view of the mountains, walk a bit around to see the ancient stones with various depictions and visit the archaeology museum with antique artifacts. Return to Bishkek. This is the end of your interesting and informative tour. Drop off at your hotel. Have a lovely evening!
