Detailed itinerary

1

Argostoli Harbor is one of the best places in Kefalonia to spot wild loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta).
These majestic creatures can be seen swimming near the fishing boats, attracted by the morning fish market.
A rare and unforgettable experience, offering a close look at one of Kefalonia’s most iconic marine species in their natural habitat.

2

Melissani Cave Lake is a breathtaking natural wonder located 2 km northwest of the town of Sami and is a must-see destination of Kefalonia.
Due to an earthquake happened a few thousand years ago, a part of the roof has collapsed creating a hole that allows sunlight to filter through and illuminate the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the lake. The result is a stunning sight that is truly awe-inspiring.
Visitors can explore the lake by taking a boat tour that takes them through the cave and over the tranquil waters of the lake. The tour guides provide interesting information about the history and geology of the area, making for a fascinating and educational experience.
One of the most striking features of Melissani is the unique color of the water, which changes throughout the day depending on the angle of the sun.

Myrtos is the most famous beach in Kefalonia and it is located on the northwestern coast of the island. Apart of its natural beauty, Myrtos gained a lot of its popularity because of the scenes from the Hollywood film "Captain Corelli's Mandolin".

The view of Myrtos at the famous photo-stop above the beach is a memory that will be nice to remember so use your camera and capture the moment.

Vouti Beach is a stunning, secluded cove on Kefalonia’s western coast, known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and peaceful atmosphere.
Surrounded by cliffs and lush nature, it offers soft golden sand, smooth pebbles, and shallow waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
