About this experience

On this tour, we will educate travelers about Jan van Riebeeck Statues as we drive past them. We will discuss the historic background while depending on which direction we are driving, Cape Town train station, adjoining Strand Street, which takes us to Cape Town's first and oldest building, the Castle of Good Hope, Grand Parade, and City Hall, where we will get off and take some pictures while sharing the history and memoirs of these prestigious structures. After there, we'll drive up Buitenkant Street to see the old Central Method Church, which eventually became the District Six Museum.

From there, we drive past the Parliament, Company Gardens, Slave Lodge, Flower Cellar Jewish Museum, and Bo-Kaap (where we can walk through the streets and try some of the special Malay dishes on offer). We then move on to Table Mountain, Signal Hill, where guests can take the cable car up. We then return to our designated hotels.

Stop 1

We stop in the Bo-Kaap, formerly known as the Cape Malay Quarter, so that visitors can take a memorable photo with the colorful houses as a backdrop. Your tour guide will share interesting stories about these historical homes and the heritage of the locals who live there. Many of these locals' families originated from Indonesia and Malaysia.

Stop 2

We stop at Table Mountain where we will explore one of the new seven wonders of the Nature. Arriving at the Cable car station we will take the cable car to the top of the mountain. In case of weather adverse, we will skip Table Mountain and leave it for the last stop of the day.

Stop 3

Visit the oldest building in SA and explore past events in this monumental building

Take a glance at the beautiful views of Camps beach with the backdrop of both Table Mountain 13 cliffs popularly known as 12 Apostles and Lion's head

After pick up at your hotel in Cape Town we will enjoy a brief city orientation tour and take a drive through the city centre where you tour guide will indicate the historical monuments and museums to gain a better understanding of the rest of the tour.
