Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Because Dracula is what Romania is most known for abroad, you might be attracted to visit his castle, Bran Castle. Bram Stoker has chosen the Castle as Dracula’s house for his novel. Truth is that the real Dracula, Vlad the Impaler, was unlikely to have spent too much of his life here, if any time at all. Nevertheless, it is an astonishing place to visit with a fully equipped chamber of torture and a beautiful view of the internal courtyard and of the outside valley.

2
Stop 2

Peles Castle, summer residence for the Romanian Royal Family, was built at the end of 19th century from the desire of King Carol I. It's artistic and historical value make it one of the most important European historical monuments of the late 19th century.

Lunch can be served in Sinaia or upon arrival in Brasov, at one of the city's many restaurants with local and international cuisine.

3

Brasov (Kronstadt) is one of the most visited cities in Romania, fringed by the peaks of the Southern Carpathian Mountains and resplendent with Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance architecture, as well as a wealth of historical attractions.
While in Brasov, go for a tour of the medieval center to see the Rope Street (111-135cm wide), the Black Church (the main Gothic style building in Romania) or just stroll around the nice streets.
This walking tour is generally 2 hours long but it can be adjusted to your interests.
