We will talk about the curiosities and rich history of this summer destination for the French and Russian aristocracy

In this beautiful square, surrounded by iconic cafés such as Café de Paris, we will admire the Hôtel du Palais, the legacy of Eugénie de Montijo and Napoleon III, with views of the surfing beach and the old casino.

We will learn about Biarritz's past whaling tradition, from a time when it was just a small fishing village in a coast full of privateers.

Stop 6

At the Rocher de la Vierge, we will take in breathtaking views of the Spanish coast, enjoying the stunning scenery that stretches along the horizon.

We will see Église Sainte-Eugénie from the outside. On the way, we will have the opportunity to admire some of Biarritz's outstanding villas in neo-medieval style, which are more than 150 years old.

At this point, we will explore the rich variety of local products that make this region unique. From the famous Bayonne ham, known for its delicate flavor, to the vibrant Espelette pepper, a staple of Basque cuisine. We will also discuss the exceptional cheeses produced in the area, the fresh oysters sourced from nearby waters, and many other regional delicacies that reflect the deep culinary traditions of this land.
