About this experience

Discover the French Basque Country with a Biarritz tour from San Sebastián, blending Atlantic scenery, history, and local flavor in a relaxed day.

Start in elegant Biarritz, the nineteenth-century holiday retreat of European royalty. Visit the Grand Plage, Rocher de la Vierge, Casino, and Hôtel du Palais while your guide shares Belle Époque stories, photogenic spots, and seaside recommendations.

Next, explore Bayonne, the Basque-French chocolate capital, wandering the Grand Bayonne, visiting Cathédrale Sainte-Marie, exploring the market, and enjoying the charm of half-timbered streets and artisan shops.

With a bilingual local guide and private transport, this itinerary showcases “a different country, the same culture”: imperial coastlines, medieval alleys, river bridges, and Basque hospitality. Perfect for a comfortable, authentic, and enriching day trip from San Sebastián.
