This is one of the most interesting tours in the Kazbegi area, because it allows you to visit some unique points. This trip is interesting but easy, so everyone can participate, even families with children. You can take also children in a baby carrier. Take water and snacks. Be prepared for changeable weather. Bring a jacket and something in case it rains. Take also comfortable sports shoes. The time spent in the car is about 30 minutes and 3 hours and 30 minutes is the time to walk around the visited points. The Dariali Gorge is called the Gate of the Caucasus. We will visit all the most important places of the Gorge and stop at several viewpoints from which we will take fantastic pictures (the Gorge is 1000 meters deep).
We will visit the mysterious Tsdo village, in which only 5 people live and in which old Georgian rituals are still cultivated. In the village, you should to go up the hill and see the altar where ritual slaughter of lambs takes place once a year in order to guarantee the peace and prosperity of the village. You can also visit the traditional Georgian cemetery.
Then we will visit two Gveleti waterfalls (small and large one). You will have two hours to walk around the waterfalls, have a picnic or take a photo session with these natural wonders.
We will do a stop on view point from which you will take fantastic pictures. Dariali Gorge is 1000 meters deep.
The last point of our trip will be a complex of monasteries, which is located at the border with Russia. There is also a restaurant where you can drink coffee or just relax.
