With the efforts of Emperor Xuanzong and his forefathers, Tang Dynasty reached the peak of most prosperous eras in Chinese history. However, a military coup broke out during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong marking the turning point of the decline of Tang dynasty. "The Everlasting Sorrow" is a legendary love story of Emperor Xuanzong and his concubine, Yang Guifei, which took place at Huaqing Palace. This romantic imperial love story of a turmoil time has touched the hearts of Chinese people till today. The duration of the show is 70 minutes and consist of 10 scenes. It is performed on the stage located in the Huaqing Palace nightly from April through October only. The performance will start promptly at 8:10pm. Therefore, please present your admission ticket to staff member and take your seat in advance.
