About this experience

Treat yourself to a walking wine tour in the center of Plovdiv, in the charming company of a wine specialist from Winetours.bg.
Spend nearly 2 hours in the world of Bulgarian wine with a light walk between the sites no more than 10-20 minutes.
We start the tour from the Roman Baths in Villa Flavia where you will get to know the history of one of the newest tourist sites in Plovdiv with a glass of Bulgarian sparkling wine in hand. That’s where we will introduce you to the thousand-year-old wine history of Bulgaria.

Our walk continues along the main pedestrian street of Plovdiv to 2 wine bars, where you will taste a total of 5 wines, served with light snacks. The wines will be selected from small family-owned Bulgarian wine cellars, and the wine specialist will introduce you to the wealth of local and international varieties in Bulgaria, the wine regions, the wines themselves, and their producers. It will help you in learning the steps of wine tasting and what to look for in a wine.
