At 8 o'clock in the morning, your private tour guide and driver will be waiting to pick you up at the lobby of your hotel and take you for an approximately one hour ride to visit Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Named the eighth wonder of the world and greatest excavation in the 20th century, this on-site museum boasts thousands of life-sized terracotta warriors and horses sculptures created by ancient Chinese in Qin Dynasty for more than 2,000 years ago. Later, you have have an opportunity to try some authentic Chinese food for lunch catering to the locals at a nearby restaurant.
After lunch break, you will be chauffeured back to the city to visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda which is an historical imperial Buddhist temple built to store important sutras and relics brought back from India by the high monk of Tang Dynasty, Xuanzang. Next, visit the marvel of ancient Chinese engineering of 600 hundred years old City Wall built in Ming Dynasty for panoramic views of Xi'an. Later, stroll along the Bell and Drum Towers Square and local Muslim Market to experience local lifestyle. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your downtown Xi'an hotel.
Optional evening activity of Tang Dynasty Dinner Show is available at additional cost. The is the most splendid and unique musics and dances show that recreates the life of imperial court.
