Detailed itinerary

1

We'll be waiting near the taxi stand at the station, where vehicles can pull over, in a gray-green tour van.

2

This is where the tour begins. We’ll start with a brief introduction and give you some time to get comfortable riding the e-bikes.

3

At this stop, we’ll visit one of the famous Oshino Hakkai spring ponds, filled with pure meltwater from Mt. Fuji. You’ll be able to touch the clear water and hear some of the natural and historical stories behind it.

4

We’ll ride along a beautiful cycling path by the peaceful and scenic Shinnasho River, surrounded by nature.

5

Away from the tourist areas, we’ll cycle through the wide, open landscapes of Oshino Village with Mt. Fuji in the background. This scenic route takes us past rice fields, traditional homes, and maybe even a few wild birds along the way.

6

We’ll stop at Uchino Sengen Shrine, a local shrine that embodies the spirit of rural Japan. Unlike the touristy shrines, this one is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by tall cedar and cypress trees. Here, you'll have a chance to experience its calm atmosphere and learn a bit about Shinto, Japan’s indigenous spirituality.

7

If we visit at the right time, this public flower park offers vibrant seasonal blooms with Mt. Fuji towering just behind them. To get there, we’ll ride through a one-of-a-kind forest, where the ground is blanketed with ancient lava flows, creating a truly unique cycling experience.

8

For lunch, we’ll stop at a local restaurant that serves authentic Japanese home-style meals. Rather than tourist-oriented dishes, you'll get to experience the kind of food that ordinary Japanese people enjoy in their daily lives."

9

We’ll ride continuously along the cycling path by the shores of Lake Yamanaka, where the trees reflect the beauty of each season.

10

At the lakeside just beyond this spot, you’ll be able to take in the vast beauty of Lake Yamanaka up close. You can even touch the cool lake water and fully appreciate the majestic, towering presence of Mt. Fuji as seen from here.

11

On our e-bikes, we’ll easily ascend the slope to the observation deck halfway up Myojin Mountain. From there, you’ll get amazing views of Lake Yamanaka below, framed by surrounding mountains and the majestic Mt. Fuji—truly a sight to remember.

12

We’ll ride a well-kept 4 km cycling route on the northern shore of Nagahama, part of Lake Yamanaka, where you can take in beautiful views of the lake and mountains at the same time.

13

After leaving Lake Yamanaka, we’ll head back toward Oshino Village, where the tour originally started. Along the way, we’ll pass through areas lined with local homes as well as zones featuring global company offices, giving you a chance to experience different aspects of village life.

14

After arriving back at Sakana Park, the starting and ending point, we’ll take time to stretch and use the restroom before driving to Mt. Fuji Station.

15

We’ve arrived at the station, where we met and where the tour ends.
