Driving to Myrtos 20 minutes and stopping for photography 20 minutes. Photo-stop and take in the wonderful views of Myrtos Bay. Myrtos is situated in the west part of the island. It is described as the most dramatic beach in Greece, it has dazzling white pebbles and a unique colour of light blue. It has won many awards, especially “the best Greek beach award” 12 times. Myrtos was also used in the film “Captain Corelli’s mandolin”, for the scene of the main explosion. Driving back to our starting point 50 minutes.
