Visit the interesting cheese factory at the Appenzeller show dairy in Stein AR, you can find out how Switzerland's tastiest cheese is made from natural Swiss milk and herbs. Marvel at the impressive cellar, where up to 12,500 wheels of cheese are stored, and try to guess the most secret ingredients of the world-famous Appenzeller cheese during a cheese tasting. The cable car runs every 30 minutes from Schwägalp up to the Säntis summit. At the summit there are two modern restaurants and an interactive adventure world for around 400,000 visitors a year. From here you have a wonderful view over the magnificent Swiss Alps.
