About this experience

This tour is a fantastic way to explore nature, enjoy scenic views, and unwind by the water. You will stroll along peaceful trails with lush greenery, riverside views for the first half hour. Then you will reach the bottom of the valley with some photography spots where you will have a rest stop and enjoy some refreshing drinks provided by the guide.

This river spot is also good for Shinrin-yoku or forest bathing. Breathe in the fresh air, listen to the sound of water and rest your eyes on the patches of light coming through the leaves and branches. You don't have to do any sightseeing and you will find yourself very relaxed.

After the rest stop, you will continue your way up to the opposite river bank. The total walk is about 3km and takes around 1.5 hour including the break. At the end of the walk, we will have afternoon tea at a dessert shop which has over 100 years of history making Japanese confectionary. You can enjoy talking to the owner and enjoy the snacks he makes.
