Let's visit our San Martin square which was built in order to celebrate our peruvian freedom. In the center we will see an important statue in honor to the general San Martín. Also, It is surrounded by beautiful buildings such as the Colon Theater, the Gran Hotel Bolivar and the National Club.

One of the most luxurious hotels of the time where many artists, singers, presidents, etc. had the privilege of staying and enjoying their magnificent rooms.

It was and still is one of the most important streets in the historic center of Lima. In its streets we can see many mansions of the time as well as an impressive church called La Merced, which has a majestic facade that you will be amazed to see it.

It is one of our imposing squares in Lima that is surrounded by important buildings such as the Government Palace, the Cathedral, the Municipality of Lima, among other buildings. In the center of the square we will be able to observe a beautiful bronze fountain that keeps a lot of history and tradition.

It is one of the most visited attractions in downtown Lima. In the underground of the church we will find the famous Catacombs, which was considered the pubic cemetery of the time. In addition, we will know its impressive rooms such as the library with more than 25,000 original books from different centuries; the choir room, which has an impressive carving of figures made of wood, the main cloister that is surrounded by original Sevillian tiles, etc.

Around the Main plaza there are many local and gourmet restaurants. So, before going to Larco Meseum we will stop in one the restaurant to have a tasty lunch.
