Detailed itinerary

1

The center of this magical town revolves around a two-story kiosk where you can sit and drink coffee. In one of the corners of the zócalo is the Parish of Santa María de la Natividad, whose construction dates back to the beginning of 1644. The temple stands out for its two Churrigueresque-style altars that are dressed with works by the Puebla painter Luis Berrueco. This area is also famous for restaurants that offer local and international cuisine, its traditional snows and palettes as well as handcrafted mezcal.

2

Atlixco de las Flores has dozens of nurseries installed, mostly in the Cabrera neighborhood, towards the Popocatépetl volcano. We will visit one of them where you can admire the different varieties of plants that are grown locally.

They have specimens for both sun and shade, for indoors or outdoors, for pots or for planting on large areas of surface.

3

We will visit the Ex-convent of San Francisco located on the San Miguel hill. An architectural gem that will immerse you in history throughout the centuries. We will go up to the access to the Crystal Viewpoint where we will have a spectacular panoramic view of the volcanoes.
