About this experience

For beginners: families with kids 8-17 years old, groups, single travelers with and without experience.

We are Nicoló and Aleksandra, a young couple living in Venice. We invite you to experience Venice by water with us. Paddling in the Northern Lagoon, we'll discover one of Italy's largest wetlands for birds and its wildlife. The journey will take you past wetlands, the islands of Murano, Sant'Erasmo, Lazzaretto Nuovo and others. Through this experience, you will gain a better understanding of the local geography, morphology, and archaeology.

On certain dates, most travelers staying outside of Venice who are planning to visit for the day will be required to pay a €10 access fee. For further details (including exemptions) and to learn what days this fee is applicable.
Physical exertion is required on our classes, they are sporty. You should have experts/medium paddling skills. You should be in suitable physical condition (each paddler must be:  less  than 120 kilos for men, less that 100 kilos for women; and be able to enter kayak cabin size 80 cm long and 40 cm wide) and mental condition to participate in sports activities, including dangerous ones, and to be free from any impediment disorders. People with serious disabilities and pregnant women after the third month will not be accepted. People with serious disabilities and pregnant women after the third month will not be accepted.
Two double kayaks are provided for each class. When there are only adults in a group, the guide decides on the spot who uses the double kayak based on their physical abilities.
The class can be cancelled by the instructor in the following cases: 1. Bad weather conditions: strong winds, rain, fog, lightning and tornadoes, events, demonstrations, strikes or other conditions that make the class unsafe or impossible. A trainee will be contacted to arrange a rescheduling for the cancelled class. 2. If a trainee arrives drunk or drugged. 3. If a trainee does not meet the requirements mentioned above.
During the classes, we often encounter waves of one foot (30 - 40cm) as well as other boat traffic.

The class can be rescheduled by the instructor if there are any changes in working hours or internal works in the club in connection with important sporting events or any other circumstances related to the club's internal processes.

Don't use your phone or camera while you are paddling. It's prohibited to use phones or cameras during the class, you will have to leave it in a locker. The instructor will take pictures for you and send them to you after the class. It's okay if you film on a Go Pro or camera attached to a hat or life jacket, since you can paddle freely.
Children between the ages of 8 and 17 are welcome to participate in the class, but only in one double kayak with their parents or instructors (i.e., they cannot sail alone).
If there is only one booking (a single participant) for a specific tour, time, and date, the guide may reschedule it to allow the single participant to join a shared group.

What else? We invite our guests to develop more active tourism by leaving no trace, and what is more, by collecting any rubbish found during the class. Also, please be respectful of nature and do not damage or remove plants or wildlife.
