Discover the essence of Venice in a captivating 2.5-hour gastronomic journey, limited to just six individuals for an intimate experience. Led by a knowledgeable local guide, immerse yourself in the rich culinary heritage of Venice. Delve into the vibrant atmosphere of the historic Venetian fish market, witnessing firsthand how locals procure and haggle for the freshest ingredients. Indulge in the renowned cicchetti, Venetian delicacies, accompanied by refreshing prosecco. Glide through the picturesque canals aboard a traditional gondolino, savoring the sights and sounds of the city. Conclude your adventure with a final cicchetti tasting and a delectable gelato or dessert, leaving with cherished memories of Venetian flavors and traditions.
You better come hungry!
You will meet your guide and begin your small group semi-private tour at the antique Rialto Fish Market, a UNESCO preserved patrimony, and one of the most ancient and picturesque parts of the city! Venice culinary traditions are much centred around seafood, the great majority of which has been (and still is) delivered to this antique market for centuries. As you explore the stands, listen to the sounds of the market, observe locals as they bargain, and see a phenomenal variety of seafood (perhaps even some you've never seen before!), you will surely feel like a true Venetian.
Thirsty and hungry for a snack after your market experience? No problem! Following your opening adventure you will then stroll through the city, taste cicchetti and sip on prosecco at two of Venice's most authentic cicchetti bars. Cicchetti are classic Venetians finger food snacks that the locals eat from mid morning throughout the day and which are usually accompanied by prosecco.
At this point hop on a gondolino (a small gondola) and cross the canal to enjoy your last cicchetti stop in Venetian style! By the end of this extravagant food experience you will definitely feel like a local yourself, and are sure to bring back some ever lasting memories, in your taste buds too!

• ABOUT OUR 6 PEOPLE SMALL GROUP POLICY
When you book a LivTours small group tour, you are guaranteed one tour guide per group of 6 people. Please bear in mind though that in order to accommodate traveling families and friends, we do on rare occasion make the exception of adding an additional one to two guests in order to not split the groups of those traveling together. On that same note, you may very well find yourself on tour with less than six people! As we accept bookings in multiples of six, math doesn’t always work in our favor to help accommodate individual travellers and their families when on the same tour, so we hope you understand and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
