Enjoy traditional Swiss sweet treats and tasty local delicacies on this 5-hour small-group gourmet food tour from Zurich. Travel along the beautiful Lake Zurich to Kilchberg and browse the assortment of Swiss chocolates at the world's biggest Lindt Chocolate Shop. Ride a cable car up to a popular viewpoint and walk through the forest to a restaurant high on the hillside. With stunning views over Zurich and the lake below, enjoy an appetizer, sip a glass of wine and sit down to a sumptuous 3-course meal including traditional Swiss cheese fondue.
Head to Zurich's Sihlquai Bus Station in the afternoon, hop aboard your minibus and — with engaging commentary from your informative guide — head out along the Sihl River to begin your tour.
Continue south along Lake Zurich to the small town of Kilchberg, home of the headquarters of the world-famous chocolate factory Lindt & Sprüngli. Step inside the newly opened Lindt Home of Chocolate and take a moment to inhale the delectable scent. Work your way through row after row of brightly colored wrapping and don’t forget to buy some souvenir chocolate for family and friends back home.
Hop back aboard your minibus and continue to Adliswil, where the only aerial cable car in the canton of Zürich takes you to the hilltop station "Felsenegg". Located on the Albis chain, this area is one of the most popular recreational zones of greater Zurich.
It is only a short hike through the magical forest to get to the restaurant overlooking Lake Zurich. Enjoy the breathtaking view on the terrace and delight in a choice of appetizers while you freshen up with a glass of white wine in summer or warming-up with the freshly prepared "Glühwein", a traditional hot, spicy wine in winter. Then step inside the cozy Swiss restaurant and get seated at the traditionally decorated table. An assorted bowl of salad is followed by the outstanding original Swiss cheese fondue. To complete your culinary experience a homemade chocolate cake is served.
Satisfied in all sense, hop back aboard your minibus for the drive back to Zurich, where your guide drops you off again at the Sihlquai Bus Station.
