About the Shirakawa-go Light-up:
Shirakawa-go in Gifu Prefecture is a UNESCO World Heritage–listed village famous for its traditional gassho-style farmhouses. It is one of Japan’s most popular destinations among international travelers, and only a few times a year, a special Illumination Event is held in the village.
This tour gives you the rare opportunity to experience that magical night illumination. Because Shirakawa-go is difficult to access by public transportation, participants will meet at Nagoya Station, from where a 10-seater hired vehicle will take you directly to the illumination event.
As seats are limited, we recommend making your reservation as early as possible.
We will meet at 10:00 and get on the vehicle.

Traditional wooden buildings line the streets, with sake breweries, souvenir shops, and cafes, earning it the nickname "Little Kyoto of Hida". The charming scenery that shows different expressions throughout the four seasons attracts many tourists.
