Detailed itinerary

1

The trip leaves directly for Coimbra, a historic city and home to the Portugal of the Little Ones Park. Expect a comfortable highway trip of around two hours with one or two rest stops.

2

The Portugal of the Little Ones Park, considered Portugal's first theme park, has been delighting generations for over 80 years. It's hard to find a child in Portugal who hasn't been to the Park at least once. The Park is a place of absolute entertainment but also of learning. It's a representative space of Portugal's architectural heritage, respecting the architectural styles of its various regions and highlighting some of Portugal's most popular monuments, all built to the scale of the little ones.
Imagine that! It's really spectacular to watch their joy, running between the little houses, the monuments, the towers, the castles, the gardens, going up and down inside these replicas built to their scale. No doubt you'll take dozens of photos, because every corner you discover will seem better than the last.
And of course... the children will invite you to enter the attractions, which in some of them will be a challenge for you but a moment of genuine laughter for them.

3

(OPTIONAL) It's lunchtime. Although it is not included in the tour program, we have set aside time in the program for it. We'll take care of these details once you've booked the tour.

4

We are now heading to Lourinhã for the Dinosaur Park. Expect a comfortable highway trip of around an hour and a half, with one or two rest stops.

5

When they arrive at the park, they start to get excited straight away. A gigantic dinosaur welcomes them and their eyes start to bulge.
The theme park covers more than 10 hectares and is the largest open-air museum in Portugal. In total you have 6 tracks to explore, corresponding to some of the most important epochs in the history of the Earth: the Paleozoic, the Triassic, the Jurassic, the Cretaceous, the Cenozoic and the Sea Monsters.
You also won't want to miss the Activities Hall where children can try out some activities and be a palaeontologist for a day.
Besides the outdoor tracks and the activities area, in the central building can be visited the exhibition of the Lourinhã's Museum, with its fantastic palaeontological collection. In the laboratory, it is also possible to observe in real time the preparation of real dinosaur fossils. So much to see and do. So much to have fun.

6

Suddenly it's time to head back to Lisbon, but if you want to continue discovering the region until the end of the day, talk to us... we know some incredible places in the region that go beyond the pin on the map and that we'd love to show you. By the way! Did you know that a nest containing more than 100 dinosaur eggs was discovered in Lourinhã? And that the largest dinosaur from the Jurassic era was also discovered here? And that the Lourinhã region is where the largest number of Jurassic fossils have been found in the world to date? These and many other curiosities await you.
In fact, in spring and summer you can even end the day on the beach with the family, making sandcastles and enjoying a wonderful sunset. The kids will love the idea and right next to the Dinosaur Park you'll find some of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal.

7

Back to the Lisbon area. A short highway trip of about an hour. The journey takes between 8 and 10 hours, depending on the time you spent on visits and whether you decide to have lunch on site. As a matter of transparency, we would like to inform you that in addition to the added time of 4 hours given to the attractions listed in the itinerary, the remaining 4 to 6 hours announced refer to: 4 hours for the total travel time, and the other 2 hours for the total time of the moments listed as optional.

Come along on this journey of fun and learning. The children will talk about these experiences and this day for years to come
