9am - Bak Kut Teh Taman Intan

The birth place of bak kut teh, Klang, has perhaps one of the most competitive bak kut teh scene in the country, with population of some 750,000 (according to wikipedia) and a claimed of some 300-500 bak kut teh restaurants, they are the restaurants that have the highest capita in that area too. Of course Klang’s Bak Kut Teh is a “must” to try, and you will definitely thumbs up for it.

What is Bak Kut Teh ?
Literally translated as “meat bone tea”, Bak Kut Teh is a favourite Malaysian comfort food. Who could actually resist the temptation of piping hot broth filled with pork meat and bones, mushrooms, Chinese cabbage and tofus

10am - Love Mom Restaurant Klang
Name of this restaurant was from the Mother’s love of the owner to her passed away only son from accident, and the taste of the foods are really original and tasty. Food
ingredients are prepared every morning freshly from markets as lady owner wanted to serve the best to her customers. Their signatures are Appam, Teh Tarik and Curry mutton.

A great way to burn the calories that we just eat is by having some walking at the nearby Mangrove Point.

Mangrove Point is a social project initiative under the Selangor Maritime Gateway located at Kawasan 14 near Klang River mouth with a coverage of approximately 70 acres on Selangor state land and Hutan Simpan Kekal. This project is a collaboration with Jabatan Perhutanan Negeri Selangor and is expected to be a new destination for eco-tourism and a public recreational area for the locals as well as the international. Mangrove Point possesses a unique mangrove ecosystem with surrounding nature that stimulates the element of meditation, health, and well-being through a biophilic environment.

The visitors may begin their exploration from the designated Information Centre and continue their journey as they stroll along approximately 1 km of the boardwalk to observe the beauty of the mangrove environment and the diversity of flora and fauna

Dietary Requirements: This tour contains a lot of pork based dishes with no substitutes
Food Safety: We take food safety very seriously and all the places that we eat at we believe are of an acceptable standard and cleanliness to take guests to, but it is impossible to 100% rule out any risk of food poisoning. Our food safety record is very good and we have found it more likely a customer will get sick from food prior to our tour than during it.
Changes to Itinerary: The food stops we eat at may vary from day to day depending on what's open.
If it rains we have more fun: We run the tour throughout the year and have never had to cancel a tour due to rain. If it rains we have ponchos and umbrellas. You may get a little wet but if you bring a positive attitude you may discover it is even more memorable
Is the tour suitable for children? There is no minimum age for this tour. This is a breakfast tour and most of the dishes are not spicy so can be eaten by children. However, we acknowledge some children are more adventurous eaters than others so we expect the parents to make the judgement as to whether a food tour is suitable. For families with small children we encourage a private version so we can adapt
Dietary Requirements: This is a food tour and not suitable for vegetarians or people with specific dietary requirements. Many dishes are pork based. While we always do our best to accommodate, many of the stops are based around single dishes where there is not always a suitable substitute. Many of the dishes are pork based and the selected shops have no alternative options. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the same experience for people with dietary requirements
