Starting out from your hotel in the afternoon, depart Kuala Lumpur for a 1.5-hour drive through the countryside. You'll pass by a palm oil plantation and jungle landscape.

Sekinchan is a small town located in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. It is about 102 km north of Kuala Lumpur, and 28 km from Kuala Selangor. Sekinchan is in the middle of the main rice-bowl area of Selangor, in the Sabak Bernam district. It is one of the major rice-producing areas of Malaysia.

Sekinchan in Chinese means "village suitable for plantation', the land and weather is suitable for farming of rice, fruits and oil palm trees. It is the highest rice production per acre in Malaysia. Total farming land paddy and fruits is about 4,300 acres. You can see a wide green paddy field on your right when you arrive in Sekinchan. It is also popular as a fishing village.

Pantai Redang (Redang Beach) is a hidden beach in Sekinchan. Redang beach is a hidden place that is worth a visit in Sekinchan. Redang Beach (Pantai Redang) is very near the seafood restaurants area at Bagan. We can take an unbeaten track along the coastal line, away from the jetty; you may find a nice and secluded spot for birding, especially to look out for egrets, waders, and terns. It’s also a good hunting ground for hermit crabs of reasonable size.

Nan Tian Temple (or called Nine Emperors God Temple) is located at Site A; this is the only temple at Site A. Nan Tian Temple ( Nan Tian Gong) was established in 1984 and extended in 2004 into today's scale. Nan Tian Temple (Nan Tian Gong) become the landmark of Site A, Sekinchan. Every 1st to 9th of the Ninth month of the Lunar Calendar, the worshipers will celebrate the birthdays of the Nine Emperor Gods (Jiu Huang Ye or 九皇爷) for ten days. The most important religious event in Sekinchan.

Nan Tian Temple is a perfect location for us to view the beauty of the paddy field; we can go up to the second floor of a tower in the temple and have a good view of the Sekinchan paddy field.

Stop 5

Bukit Melawati is a popular tourist attraction. The hill overlooks the Strait of Malacca and has a lighthouse as well as the remains of the Kota Melawati fort. A former fort with an antique cannon facing the Straits of Malacca. While here, it is likely you will encounter the local inhabitants: the silvered leaf monkeys.

Formerly named Altingsburg Lighthouse, after a Dutch governor. Built in 1907 and started operating in 1910.

Proceed onward toward Kuala Selangor for a Seafood Dinner Before the firefly boat tour, you will have dinner at one of the many seafood restaurants inside the park or near location. These restaurants are known for its delicious seafood dishes which is located near the waterfront. Your driver will take you to the best restaurant of that row.

Once dinner has finished and night is upon you, join your boat ride through the mangroves to view the fireflies. You will be amazed by these mesmerizing insects in an area known to have one of the largest colonies in the world. Your day trip concludes with the return transfer to your hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
