The entire tunnel network is about two kilometers long, divided into three levels: the first is 13 meters below the surface, the second is 15 meters, and the third is 23 meters. It took more than two years to build the village tunnel, which involved excavating almost 6,000 cubic meters of soil. The primary inner axis measures 2,034 m in length, 1.2 m in width, and 1.5 4.1 m in height. Every three meters, the two side cliffs are shaped into makeshift little homes. There are clinics, a maternity unit, and a 150-seat hall in the tunnel center. There are seven entrances that serve as ventilators connecting it to the sea, and another six that connect it to a nearby hill.
