At 8:00 a.m our driver will come to pick you up from your hotel/your homestay/your hostel in Phong Nha then transfer to Hue city. On the way, we will drive along Ho Chi Minh Trail and you can see how beautiful Vietnam Countryside is? On the way, our driver can make stops for you to take photos.
At around 10:15 a.m We arrive in Vinh Moc Tunnels where you can go down and experience the underground life in 1960' by the locals. The entire tunnel network is about two kilometers long, divided into three levels: the first is 13 meters below the surface, the second is 15 meters, and the third is 23 meters. It took more than two years to build the village tunnel, which involved excavating almost 6,000 cubic meters of soil. The primary inner axis measures 2,034 m in length, 1.2 m in width, and 1.5 4.1 m in height. Every three meters, the two side cliffs are shaped into makeshift little homes. There are clinics, a maternity unit, and a 150-seat hall in the tunnel center. There are seven entrances that serve as ventilators connecting it to the sea, and another six that connect it to a nearby hill.
At around 11:15 a.m continue the trip with a stop at DMZ Vietnam that became the temporary division between North and South Vietnam from 1954 until 1975. Thus, you can visit museum, the Flag Pole and the Old Ben Hai river Bridge and will know much about the Vietnam war.
At around 14:00 p.m our driver will drop you at the hotel in Hue center. Trip ends.
