Detailed itinerary

1

In the morning, our guides will meet you at your hotel for a brief orientation before transferring you to Marangu Gate (1,860 m/6,046 ft), the eastern entrance of Kilimanjaro National Park. After completing the necessary paperwork, including climbing permits and rescue service registration, the group will begin the trek to Mandara Hut (2,700 m/8,858 ft). The trail takes you through a lush rainforest where rain showers are common, so carrying a raincoat is highly recommended.

Upon reaching the hut, you will enjoy your packed lunch.

Afterward, you can take a short 30-minute hike to the scenic Maundi Crater before descending back to Marangu Gate. At the gate, our driver will be waiting to return you to your hotel in Moshi.
