Detailed itinerary

Our guides will arrive at your hotel in the morning for a short briefing before transferring you to Kilimanjaro National Park's southern entrance: Machame Gate (1,640 m/5,380 ft). After completing the necessary formalities, including climbing permits and rescue service registration, the group will begin trekking through the lush rainforest towards Machame Camp (2,835 m/9,301 ft). The trail offers stunning scenery, and with the possibility of tropical showers, we recommend bringing a raincoat.

Once you reach the camp, you will enjoy your packed lunch.

After lunch, you can take some time to relax and soak in the views before starting your descent back to Machame Gate. There, our driver will meet you and return you to your hotel in Moshi.
