I'll start with some images and videos for San Miguel de Allende History, Old San Miguel, New San Miguel, the importance of the city on the XVI, Colors, Cripts, foundation, Church history and more.

This place visit is from outside since is a big history for the house and we have limit time for the tour. I'll explain México Independence history, who is Ignacio Allende, name of the city, important homes in San Miguel.

One of the most important homes in San Miguel in XVIII. Open Casona to visit, depend of the time or the day, this is close on Monday. We will visit 1st floor explain how it works for royalty to have a small house in San Miguel.

Old Cloister from Inmaculated ladie Convento, build in 1755, become an Art School in the 20's. We will see David Alfaro Siqueiros Mural as part of Art School.

We visit Convento de la Inmaculada Concepción, depend of the time and if this is open (Usually nuns have private service and close the convento with out a notice) we will see for this one History, Architecture and foundation of the Congregation.

Visit to one of the 10 Best Hotels in México with Indígenas work as a ceramic, tile, Old Convent, beautiful Courtyard, Old Hacienda, city view.

We will have a bathroom break and a stop for Fresh Fruit Water tasting and to keep walking to next place.

We will go trought Juarez Park, depend of the date there is an local Art showing their work, Artesans market, festivitie, wedding venue, parade, music flower chocolate beer festival or just the beautiful sound of nature.

After Juárez Park we will go trought Chorro, Lavaderos, Casa de la Cultura, Old Haciendas. Will explain why thi place is still important for Sanmiguelenses while sitting on the benches.

At the end of the tour we will visit San Francisco de Asísi, the importance of the Congregation in San Miguel, foundation and church Architecture.

Meeting point

I’ll be waiting for you at the front iron fence of the pink Neo-Gothic Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, right at the main staircase in the town’s central square. I’ll be wearing a red hat and holding a sign that says “Walking Tour.”

Important notes

Marimar will be standing at main square, beside the Ignacio Allende Museum. Cuna de Allende #1 is the address for the museum but the main square is Just beside. There is a monument to Fray Juan de San Miguel.
