Stop 1

Start from: Baku Old City.
The tour will start from the entrance of Double Gates which is also called Gosha Gala Gapisi. Your guide will explain brief historical information about Baku city from the first settling period of Baku to the modern period. Guests will walk through the narrow cobblestone paved streets in Old City and witness the Medival age's heritage of Baku citizens.

Duration: 20 minutes

Pass By: Maiden Tower, Bazaar Square, Saint Bartholomew Church, Juma Mosque, Murtuza Mosque, Bukhara and Multani Caravanserais, Juma Mosque, Muhammad Mosque, sOld Hamams, Miniature Book Museum, Vahid's Garden, Agha Mikayil Bath,and other important historical buildings.

Duration: 1 hour and half
Stop At: Shirvanshahs' Palace, dated to the 15th century forming a group of historic monuments listed in 2001 under the UNESCO World Heritage List as cultural property. Visitors will see the Palace Ensemble which has preserved its historic and architectural features to date.

After completing the Old city tour tourists will visit Highland Park.

Pass by: Philarmonia Park: Baku's Green Oasis.

Stop at: Upland/Highland Park. Guests will visit the highest point of the capital of Azerbaijan, from where a beautiful panorama of the city and the bay opens and also three Flame Towers.

After ending up the Highland Park journey stop for the lunch.
Start the tour at 15:00 or 15:30 and head to Heydar Aliyev Cultural Centre which is a must-see for those who come to Baku which attracts the attention of tourists with its curved style architecture.

Return Back to the City Centre and directly visit the Carpet Museum.

Pass by: Bahram Gur monument, not far from the local Carpet Museum.
Tourist will meet the carpets exhibited in the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum are classified in chronological order and according to the regions, they touch. The carpets in the museum were chosen from those that were woven in different ways. Each carpet has a unique weaving method and special patterns. There are over 6000 carpets in the museum. The museum, which contains carpets from various historical periods, offers a very valuable collection to its visitors. Some of the carpets in the museum are carpets such as Karabagh Carpets and Kasımusaghı Carpets, which were woven from the 14th century to the 20th century.
