Depart from your hotel at 7:30am and travel a short distance to Tala Private Game Reserve where you get into a 4 x 4 Game Drive vehicle and proceed to view the animals. Tala Game Reserve spans some 3,000 hectares, encompassing a mix of acacia thornveld, open grassland and a sensitive wetland, which attracts more than 380 bird species, and plenty of big game, including kudu, hippo, buffalo, giraffe, wildebeest and eland. Being Malaria-free, with no large predators makes Tala a top-notch choice for families, and holidaymakers seeking a no-frills authentic bush break with the freedom to explore on your terms.
From Tala Private Game Reserve we proceed to Natal Lion Park. This journey takes us through some sugar cane plantations. At Natal Lion Park, enjoy some hair raising experiences as we drive within metres of the lions. We also get to see and experience some close encounters with elephants, some never to be forgotten experiences. We also experience the beautiful bush full of African indigenous trees and many bird species.
From Natal Lion Park we head off to our final stop of the day at Phezulu Safari Park. Whether you are after a hearty meal while overlooking the extraordinary Valley of a Thousand Hills, enjoying a guided 4×4 game drive through the Phezulu Conservation Area, watching the crocodiles sun themselves on the banks of their ponds or marveling at the wide variety of venomous and non-venomous snakes in the Reptile Park – Phezulu Safari Park will excite you.
