Our hike reaches one of the most famous beaches in the world, Falassarna beach! We hike over the Gramvoussa peninsula on an easy route and we get a first look of the beach from 300m above sea level! then we head down to the beach for a refreshment before we return the same way we came!

On our way to Falassarna beach we will leave behind Kissamos bay and we will find ourselves between east and west with breathtaking views of the Cretan mountains on the east and the endless blue of the west!
We hike over the Gramvousa peninsula as we hear and learn about the history of this part of the island from our expert guides! from antiquity when the city of Ancient Falassarna was a significant trading center all the way to the pirates of the Mediterannean sea in 18th and 19th century and modern times!
We will meet downtown of Kissamos so we can all drive together to the starting point of the hike!
