This is the representative waterfall of Jeju Island. It is the only waterfall in Asia that falls from land to the sea. It is a place where you can dip your feet in the water.
Seobulgwacha" was written in Chinese characters on the rock wall of Jeongjang Falls. There was a legend that Jin Si-hwang's envoy came to Yeongju Mountain (now Hallasan Mountain) in Jeju Island to find "Bulocho" and took turns engraving words on the rock wall, but the rock was broken due to the typhoon.Jeongbang Falls has many rocks, so you have to walk very carefully under your feet Also, it is easy to go down the stairs, but it is very hard to go up around. It is the only natural waterfall in Asia that falls into the sea, and when there are many photographs and rainbows, it creates even more beautiful scenery.

Oedolgae Rock(Lonely rock)

There is a sad legend about love handed down in Oedolgae. Once upon a time, in a seaside village in Seogwipo-si, a couple lived with a child. One day father went fishing to the sea. His father met a storm and the boat overturned and died. He sank into the sea, but his father did not return, so She waited on the beach like every day for decades before turning to stone and dying. It is in the form of grandmother and is standing carrying a baby. When his father heard the news, he floated over the sea and washed up to the beach to meet grandmother and turned into a stone. grandfather's legs are submerged in the sea, so if you look into the sea behind grandmother, you can see grandfather's feet.

Columnar joints are quadrangular-shaped pillars that look as if they were delicately carved with a sharp carving knife, and are vertical joints that appear in basaltic lava flows. It was formed as a result of the contraction of thick lava flowing from a crater and rapidly cooling. You can enjoy the mystery of nature as the hexagonal stone pillars standing on top of each other, like a stack of stairs, are surrounded like a folding screen. The waves crashing against the pillars are also a sight to behold, and in severe cases, a 'show' soaring more than 20m in height is unfolded, taking the viewer's breath away. The Jusangjeolli Cliffs along the Jungmun-Daepo Coast are 30 to 40 m high and about 1 km wide, boasting the largest scale in Korea and designated as Jeju Island Natural Monument No. 443.

Yongmeori Coast is located at the foot of Sanbangsan Mountain and extends to the coast. It is called Yongmeori Coast because it resembles the head of a dragon going into the sea. Sandstone rocks that have been layered for tens of millions of years have been carved out by the waves to form a strange cliff. The oyster room, which is hollow like a secret room hit by waves, or the traces of waves kept by the rock wall, makes you feel the grandeur of facing a long history. The spectacular view of the 30-50m-long cliffs that curve like a meander has been filmed as a backdrop for commercials and movies.

Since Jeju was an area without a large temple, when the grand three-story Daejeokgwangjeon was first drawn, people said it was just a fantasy. However, Monk Hyein firmly believed that the protection of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva would be with him, and he traveled around the country to spread the power of temple construction, and many Buddhists joined. Before Monk Hyein built Yakcheonsa, there was only a traditional Jeju thatched house called ‘Yaksuam’ measuring 59.4㎡ (18 pyeong) on the temple site of about 1,485㎡ (450 pyeong). After that, full-scale Buddhist services began, and when the temple grew in size, the name was changed to Yakcheonsa (藥川寺). When the land was secured in 1988, construction began, and in 1991, the largest Buddhist temple in the East began to take shape. In 1993, the Vairochana Buddha was enshrined in the main temple and a ceremony was held to enshrine it, and in 1996, the Daeungjeon Dedication Ceremony and the Nahanjeon Topping-out Ceremony were held,

Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road is on the northwest side of Jeju Island and has a distinctive offshore wind farm as a prominent landmark. The white windmills and emerald waters along the winding shoreline are a refreshing example of the autumn landscape and an environmentally friendly way to generate electricity. This road is also one of the most beautiful places to view the sunset from Jeju, so be sure to bring your camera!

You can also find an Ecological Experience Center walking course on the coastal road. The observation deck built midway along the walking course is a convenient place to rest and enjoy the view. Walk along the Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road and leave with many pleasant memories, and of course a photo or two!

8

Hyeopjae Beach is adjacent to Hallim Park, 32 km west of Jeju City. The white sandy beach mixed with shell powder, Biyangdo Island floating in the front sea, the beautiful cobalt-colored sea and the dense pine forest all harmonize together, and the scenery is very beautiful. The white sandy beach is about 200m long, 60m wide, average water depth is 1.2m, and the slope is 3-8 degrees. The water depth is shallow and the slope is gentle, so it is suitable as a beach for families. In addition, various convenient facilities are well equipped, and camping is possible in the pine forest. The southwest coast of this beach is connected to Geumneung Beach, and residents call the two beaches together Hyeopjae Beach.

9

Handam Beach is spread out along the coastline from Aewol-ri Village, which is at the northwestern edge of Jejudo Island, to Gwakji Gwamul Beach.
Jeju Special Self-Governing Province made this beach in 2001 as a part of the coastline improvement plan in order to give the islanders and tourists more diverse opportunities to enjoy the ocean. The plan’s priority was to create a harmony with the surrounding view. There is a 1.2km long winding trail that is paved along the beautiful coastline that was made to be as close to the ocean as possible. This is a very popular place because visitors can enjoy a relaxing walk along the vast blue ocean.
In July 2009, Jeju-si designated 31 sites that represent Jejudo Island besides the already famous tourist sites and Handam Beach was chosen as one of these 31 hidden views of Jeju-si.

10

산방산 (Sanbangsan Mountain)
Sanbangsan Mountain is a trachytic tuff lava dome connected to the sedimentary layer of the Yongmeori Coast in the coast of Sagye-ri, Andeok-myeon. It is a bell-shaped tholoid that stands tall in the plains of southwest Jeju, allowing it to be seen from anywhere in the area. It is encircled by Ilju Road, which connects Moseulpo Port and Hwasun-ri. Well-maintained stairs are available so that tourists can climb up to Sanbanggulsa Grotto, which stands at the southern face of Namsa-myeon. If you wish to go up to the summit of Sanbangsan Mountain, you can use the trail behind Sanbangsan Mountain, which leads to Deoksu-ri, Yonghae-dong.

11

The scenery of setting sun at this volcanic cone is comparable to the view of the sunset at Sarabong Volcanic Cone. At the observatory located at the peak of Suwolbong Peak, visitors can see Chagwido Island, Songaksan Mountain, Dansan Mountain, and Jukdo Island in one glance, and can even observe Sarabong with binoculars. Suwolbong holds a legend called Nokdumul that tells of a story of a brother and sister’s love for their parents. According to the legend, the siblings, Nokgo and Suwol, were collecting 100 different herbs to cure their mother’s sickness, but weren’t able to find the last herb, Acanthopanax senticosus. When they learned that the last herb grew on Suwolbong Peak’s cliff, Suwol, the sister, climbed the cliff to harvest it.
