Stop 1

Get healed while hiking up one of the 46 Oreums on Mt. Halla where you have a dramatic view of the northern half of the island and the pretty dome of Baeknokdam crater, the summit of Mt. Halla. Reaching the top of the trail offers a sense of accomplishment while awe-inspiring views are truly therapeutic. (Hiking trail 2.6km, 60 min.)

Local Lunch: Time to savor local food. One of the best local kitchens around with reasonable prices will be suggested, which a big bus tour cannot accommodate. Vegetarian options will be also suggested. (Lunch cost is not included)

Enjoy the healing moment at the scenic grandeur of the waves soaring more than 20 meters in height to crash against the black lava pillars in hexagon or pentagon. Formed as a result of the contraction of hot lava from rapid cooling, columnar joints stand up 40 meters as if they were delicately carved with a sharp carving knife.
