Detailed itinerary

1

The Stone Culture Park is a museum and ecological park that comprehensively and systematically shows the stone culture of Jeju, the land of stones. The exhibition hall was completed and opened on June 3, 2006, seven years after construction began. The Stone Culture Park, where you can see the stone culture of Jeju in one place, is so large that it is recommended to visit it with a leisurely schedule. The Stone Culture Park is located in front of Oreum, a unique natural heritage of Jeju, and if you follow the shape of a castle made of piled stones, you will reach the entrance of the Stone Culture Park with a cool view of the surroundings.

Passing through the entrance and following the viewing path, you will come across various stone sculptures woven from the tale of Seolmundae Halmang and her son, General Oh Baek.

Take pictures in a circular artificial pond. Appreciate Jeju traditional tools made of stone and wood. Appreciate Dolhareubang, the guardian deity of Jeju.

2

In the Andol Oreum Secret Forest, you can see cedar forests, cypress forests, sheep, wild deer, cows and horses grazing leisurely. The forest of trees along the promenade is a great place to take pictures as you want to lean on people. Sunlight coming through the leaves, rapeseed fields, etc. make the path in the forest stand out even more. I am so immersed in the calmness of the forest that I do not know how time passes. You will feel as if the present moment has stopped. You can take your own rest without being disturbed by anyone. There are no toilets in the natural forest.

Andol Oreum is also a place for photographers to take pictures. Take a walk in the pristine forest. A forest of trees is clustering towards your path. Food to Luck, ponies, forest, sky, and trails are all well-suited for taking pictures.

3

'Woljeong-ri' is a village with a lyrical landscape that means 'the moon stays'. The beautiful emerald-colored sea spreads out like a picture, and the bright moon shines above it.

As the beautiful scenery of Woljeong-ri has become famous among travelers, more and more people are visiting Woljeong-ri Beach, and accordingly, various restaurants, cafes, and accommodations are lined up. Some cafes have chairs where you can take a break while looking at the sea, and photos taken while sitting on these chairs became famous and became a photo spot.
Woljeongri Beach to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak
The coastal road drive course is the best way to travel around Jeju's beaches.
Jeju Island has a lot of stones, so people like to build stones. Traditionally, people make wishes, build stones for health and business success, or build stones for peace in the village. You can also make a wish by stacking stones on the beach of Jeju!

4

It is thought that the profession symbolizing Jeju Island, which is also called Samdado because of its abundance of water, wind, and women, is the haenyeo. Haenyeo is a female diver who collects shellfish and seaweed by diving without an oxygen tank or other tools. In 2016, Jeju Haenyeo were registered as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Since it is a risky job risking one's life in the great nature of the sea, the community is strong and well-ordered. The Jeju Haenyeo Museum was opened in 2006 to let people know about the homes, workplaces, and lives of Jeju haenyeo.

5

Yongnuni Oreum is an oreum with an altitude of 247.8m, a height of 88m, and a circumference of 2,685m. Grass is covered in spring and summer, silver grass in fall and winter, and they change their clothes every season. The ridges, which are soft like the curves of the human body, are uniquely beautiful, and many photographers are looking for them. It has a hollow in the middle, which means it looks like a place where a dragon lay.
In fact, when looking down from above, the crater looks like a dragon's eye.

As you climb up the oreum, admire the numerous oreums around you, as well as the wind, wind turbines, and small mountains around you. Jeju has nature that heals the wounds in your heart.

6
Stop 6

Jeju Sangumburi Crater is a parasitic volcanic crater of Hallasan Mountain.
It is the only submerged volcano in Jeju Island.

The outer circumference of the crater is 2,067m, the inner circumference is 756m, and the depth of the crater is 100-146m, forming a conical cliff, and the floor area is about 8,000 pyeong. The crater rarely ejected lava, only a hole was dug deep by the explosion, and the material from the explosion was scattered in all directions and only a small amount accumulated around it. Although the diameter and depth of the crater are larger than that of Baeknokdam, the water does not accumulate and flows out to the sea through the basalt gravel layer of the crater wall. Such a crater is called a maar, and Sangumburi Crater is unique in Korea, and there are only a few in Japan and Germany worldwide.

Climb along the silver grass road to see the 100-meter-deep crater and admire the small mountains (oreums) around it

7

Saryeoni Forest Trail is one of the 31 hidden unexplored places in Jeju. It is a forest road with thick cedar trees that starts with Bijarim Road and passes through Mulchat Parasitic Cone and Saryeoni Parasitic Cone. It is called Saryeoni Forest Trail because it is a forest path that leads to Saryeoni Oreum.

‘Saryani’ means ‘sacred forest’ or ‘winding threads in a circle so that they do not scatter’, and you can feel as if you are surrounded by the refreshing scent of cedar trees while walking through the forest. It is also a filming location for dramas and a wedding photo shoot for newlyweds. Take a walk in the forest, forgetting the stress and worries of your mind and body.
It will be a walk in the woods, where the drama was filmed, to relieve stress from the mind and body. Do a photo shoot. Have your own leisurely time along the wooden path made easy for anyone to stroll.
