한림공원 information Hallim Park information Hallim Park, which opened in 1971, was created by founder Song Bong-gyu by cultivating the vast plains of Hallim. It is a theme park consisting of nine themes: a subtropical botanical garden, a fountain garden, a folk village, a palm tree path, a cave, a bird safari, a pond garden, a stone exhibition hall, and an outdoor walking path. It is also a place where you can see various flowers that can be seen in Jeju each month. World-famous figures such as former Chinese Prime Minister Jiang Zemin and former Japanese Prime Minister Nakasone have visited. It is a world-famous tourist attraction visited by more than 1 million domestic and foreign visitors every year. The palm tree path has tall trees, giving it a mysterious feel, and the moderate humidity makes it great for a walk. There are lava caves, such as Hyeopjaegul, Ssangyonggul (Ssangyonggul), and Hwanggeumgul. The limestone water seeps into the ceiling and walls, allowing you to see the characteristics of lava caves and limestone caves at a glance. If you go to Jaeam Folk Village, you can see thatched houses that look like old Jeju, and in the bonsai garden, you can see various bonsai and rare natural stones. The Safari Bird Garden has animals that you don't see often, so it's a good place to go with children. You can tour the entire park in 2 hours. If you need a place to rest in the middle, you can sit and rest in the pavilion in the middle of the forest. There are tables and chairs in the pavilion, and you can look around the surrounding plants.
