Boarding at the port of Chandon (20km from Tours) on a toue cabanée, a traditional flat-bottomed boat, for a 2h30 to 3h ride. You will share the knowledge of our boatmen who will tell you the history of the Cher and explain to you the operation and ingenuity of the needle dams, invented in 1834. You will discover a diversified flora and fauna, typical houses, mills, mansions and castles hung on the sides as well as the charm of the manual locks and the lock houses.
While contemplating the glow of the setting sun, you will taste the local specialties in food and wine pairing (tasting of 3 wines).

You will pass a manual lock and can, if you wish, participate in the opening and closing of the gates.
During the allotted time, we move quietly along the water, discover the heritage, the flora, the locks and the needle dams which make the originality of the canalized Cher. We go through a lock on the outward and on the way back. On the last hour, you will enjoy a tasting and explanation of 3 wines and local products.
