Tarangire National Park is the second ecosystem park located in West South of Arusha town. The Park was named Tarangire due to a river which flows on the area all year around and helps the animals to get their water even during dry season. This park is covers a total area of 2850km square, it is well covered by big baobab trees and large number of elephants, hence named as home of African elephant. Ecosystem in Tarangire has become amazing due to the behaviors of animals which migrate in rain season and come back in dry season because the soil of this place makes grass unpalatable and Muddy and therefore causes hooves disease to the antelopes.
